Adult BJJ

Real Jiu Jitsu. No belt mill.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the art of controlling and submitting a resisting opponent using leverage and technique instead of size. At Community Jiu Jitsu in Boonton, you'll learn it the authentic way: a progressive curriculum, live training at the right pace, and coaches who care about getting you better.

Our head coach Marc Berman is a black belt under Marcelo Garcia and has been training for seventeen years. Every class is built so a brand-new white belt and a seasoned competitor both leave better than they came in.

What a class looks like

A warm-up that builds grappling-specific movement, technique broken down step by step, drilling with a partner, and positional or live rounds scaled to your experience. Beginners are never thrown to the wolves.

We train both, so you develop a complete game for self defense, fitness or competition.

01Real self-defense that works under pressure
02A full-body workout that never gets boring
03Confidence that carries off the mat
